Bryggens Museum, Bergen

Today we headed down the docks to the Bryggens Museum, located past where the Bryggens area is.

The staff member who sold us tickets rather disarmingly said that downstairs it was all “centuries old trash”. Then he went on to say that upstairs is a temporary exhibition of Norwegian intellectuals “of which we don’t have very many”. Maybe he was having a bad day,

The had a sign up which was quite nice. I thought we could adapt that to the Heidelberg Historical Society Museum: “Two o’clock was the time had I yearned for, when I would see the Heidelberg Historical Society Museum”.

A short distance away was St. Mary’s church.
